Getting lost in the Monts de Blond
Cieux is surrounded by large and beautiful mountains. Take the opportunity to go hiking and discover the surrounding nature. While walking, you will surely come across the menhir of Ceinturat.
At 5 metres high, it is the largest menhir in the Haute-Vienne. You will have to take a nice walk in the middle of the wilderness before you reach it. Legend has it that the person who manages to throw a stone onto the ledge halfway up the menhir is promised a wedding within the year.
There are also many megaliths that will stand in your way. There is even a circuit to make sure you see them all on your walk.

Follow in the footsteps of Oradour-sur-Glane
Follow in the footsteps of your ancestors by visiting the martyred village of Oradour-sur-Glane, near Cieux. This place of memory shows the total disappearance of the hamlet and its inhabitants during the Second World War.
Everything was left as such: ruins of houses, an abandoned church and deserted streets. This visit leaves no one indifferent to the chaos of French history.
